Bi-polarity
A mood disorder with a set of symptoms combining depressive and manic characteristics.

In addition to the symptoms typical of depression, bi-polarity in the manic phase includes increased energy, intense irritability and frustration, flights of ideas, poor judgement, decrease in emotional responsibility, reckless spending, unpredictable emotional shifts, grandiosity, exaggerated social behaviour, and a decrease in the need to sleep.
