Happiness
What is happiness? In English it originally meant ‘things that happen’ and did not originally signify the guaranteed continuation of bliss that it has come to mean.

The idea of the happy life has inspired much of the thought of the wisest for twenty-five centuries.

Setting aside whatever happiness is to be had from material possessions, eternal youth and the full exercise of our abilities, the majority opinion of the wisest is that our happiness depends upon our choices in life.

Psychotherapy is particularly helpful in the challenge of finding out what really matters to us in our happiness.
