Hypnosis

Hypnosis
Hypnosis comes in many forms. Within the context of psychotherapy, it can best be described as a form of guided concentration that taps into your unconscious mind.

It is a relaxed state in which your unconscious mind is focused and open to helpful suggestions and visualizations. Hypnosis can also be helpful in recovering memories.

It should not be confused with other so-called forms of hypnosis such as staged hypnosis used as entertainment in magic shows.
