Phobias

Phobias
Phobias refer to those day-to-day ordinary fears and anxieties that most of us have encountered.

These include such familiar phobias as insects, heights, dark places, snakes, and cats.

The list is very long but it was because of phobias that Freud was able to research the methods of therapy which so successfully removed phobias.

People with phobias know that they have them and may be embarrassed about or even ashamed of them.

Fortunately, well-trained therapists can work very successfully to relieve the pressure caused by phobias and even understand how they got started in the first place.
