Sensorimotor
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP) is a mindfulness-based method that is done in a highly collaborative manner and includes liberal amounts of psycho-education as well as somatic education.

This is a method that works with how the body processes experience and how those felt experiences are integrated with emotions and thoughts.

By addressing sensorimotor processing, the higher levels of thoughts and emotions are facilitated as well. In other words, how our body experiences and processes has a profound effect on the meaning of our experiences.

Therapist and client are working with finely attuned attention to present ongoing experience.
