Therapy Toronto Psychotherapy Definitions
- Spiritually-Oriented
- Spiritually-oriented Psychotherapy acknowledges the metaphysical/spiritual level of the human experience, including quantum concepts and phenomena such as healing energy, intentionality and consciousness.
It recognizes the connectedness of all, the unity of mind-body-spirit and the transpersonal nature of healing.
Spiritually oriented therapy honours the sacred within and without, and the soul as holding the key to self-knowledge, life purpose and service to the world.
It draws from depth psychology, transpersonal psychology, recent quantum theory and indigenous healing traditions from around the world.
