Translation is a term we usually use to describe how people switch from one language to another.
In therapy we begin to realize that we may be speaking several languages and we start to interpret our various languages as they apply to our own individual experience.
Carrying over the meanings of our parents’ lives into our own lives as children, and learning how language has shaped our understanding of reality, can create a very new vision of who we are and what we can be.
