All the members of the site are trained professional psychotherapists in private practice. They charge fees for the work they perform, after the first free consultation.

Please note that psychotherapy is not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).

Some insurance and benefits programs may cover it, but this depends on your plan. In most cases you will have to pay your therapist yourself.

We provide free consultations to determine our capacity to help you through consulting with you. We do not negotiate fees through email or over the phone.

Feel free to discuss fees when you meet for your free consultation to explore what you need and the important issue of fit between you and the therapist.

Psychotherapy has accurately been described as a 'labour of love'. Our rates represent, on average, the current mid-range in Toronto.

Each therapist sets her/his own fees independently, and negotiates fees directly with clients. Our therapists value their skills and experience individually, just as you would do for yours.

Some of us charge a fixed standard rate. Others provide one or more reduced or no fee slots. Still others adjust their fees using a 'sliding scale' based on individual circumstances.
